Everything to Know About Those Super Cute Puppy Corgis

Home / Dog Breeds / Everything to Know About Those Super Cute Puppy Corgis

The internet can help humanity with a lot. We have all the information of the entire world at the tips of our fingers, we can communicate with people in different countries in a matter of seconds – and we can look at pictures of cute puppy corgis.

A surge of pictures of these adorable puppies has sparked interest across the globe. Just what, exactly, are these dogs? How are they possibly so cute? Are things this cute even real?

We’ll answer all these questions, and more, in this article.

What Are These Cute Puppy Corgis?

Corgis truly are a unique breed of dog. They’re energetic, adorable, and fantastic companions who carry a lot of strength and determination in their tiny bodies.

They’re marked by their unique, almost humorous appearance: their legs are very short, yet muscular. They’re long and walk close to the ground, they’re covered in thick fur, and they can come in a variety of different colours and shades.

Corgis who are properly raised make great friends. They’re affectionate and love to cuddle, but they rarely reach the point of becoming needy. Their bark is loud enough to catch your attention without being obnoxious.

They are bold, charismatic creatures who seem to be ever-aware of their own cuteness.

Taking Care of Cute Puppy Corgis

As cute as they might be, it’s still important to take care of your corgis. They have a lot of fur, which means that they shed a lot. If you get a corgi, you’re going to have to brush it at least once a day.

You should also make sure that you take time to trim your cute puppy corgi’s nails and clean their ears on a regular basis.

Training a Corgi Puppy

Corgis are strong, willful, and bold. If you don’t start training them at an early age, they’re going to start doing their own things – which means they might feel independent from you.

Start socializing your cute puppy corgis at an early age, making sure that you gradually allow them to experience and enjoy a wide variety of different situations, animals, and people.

As strong-willed as the corgis might be, they’re also very sensitive, so make sure that you train them with positive feedback rather than punishment.

Corgis are experts when it comes to being agile and obedient. They also make great herders. Consider these things in your puppy training and exercising.

Corgi Puppy Exercise

Corgis are known for being energetic, and it shows in their roots: Corgis were originally used as sheep and cattle herders, and they have a ton of stamina.

This means that you’re going to need to exercise your pup on a daily basis.

Avoid long-distance running, since this is hard on their legs. Corgis are capable swimmers and love playing with other dogs.

If you’re taking your corgi out on a hot day, make sure that you give them lots of water after exercising. Their fluffy fur can cause them to heat up quickly which can lead to dehydration.
