Body Structure and Appearance
These creatures vary from 10 to 14 inches in size and weigh less than 25 lbs. They have an appearance very similar to their parent breed like sickled tale, triangular ears, brilliant eyes and of course thickly coated furs. They have double coated fur which helps them to bear the harsh weather. They can survive in the extreme cold weather at the temperature of even -58º to -76º F. Their furs also protect them from heat. Their eye color vary from dark blue, brown, ice blue, etc. but in some huskies the color may even vary from one eye to the other, which is known as hetrochromia.

They are cute, lovable and social kind of animal. They love the company of others whether it's a human being or someone from their own breed. They enjoy the affection given to them and even respond to it. They get attached to their masters and follow them at every step. Their body is made in such a way that they compulsorily need exercise. Lack of exercise can lead them to an unmanageable behavior. As they are very energetic creatures, they don't like to be locked up at home. They are always keen to have an exercise session. Running is their most favorite form of exercise like other breeds of huskies and hence they are also used as sled dogs. To maintain their health and balance of mind, one should make them exercise daily. Now if we talk about health, these creatures are susceptible to eye related problems like cataracts, glaucoma, corneal dystrophy, etc. Some common allergies, cancer and hip dysplasia are also common in these huskies.
